Community Guidelines

Planet Neo is a place where everyone feels safe, it’s easy to communicate genuinely, build relationships, and have fun hanging out.
Our Community Guidelines ensure everyone finds belonging, but not at the expense of anyone else. We believe you can make a positive contribution and we want to hear your voice. Our social media platforms are used to promote Planet Neo, partnerships and to give insight to our work behind the scenes. In order to keep our online communities and conversations focused, we have established the following guidelines, outlining the rules of conduct and what content is and isn’t permitted on our platforms.
Be respectful and Remain respectful
Planet Neo is a community filled with members from many different backgrounds so from time to time there will be differences of opinion or perspectives, this is normal. We want to grow our community in a friendly and peaceful way. We all have the right to feel comfortable and safe to share our opinions and stories. No matter the topic being discussed, please be respectful in any interactions.
We do not tolerate comments that are:
  • Abusive, threatening, harassing, or attacking others
  • Hateful in language targeting race/ethnicity, age, colour or religion
  • Swear words or other language which is likely to offend
  • Spamming in nature.
If your messages and/or comments are noxious and harmful to our community, they will be deleted and you may be put on our Warning list.
We really appreciate any constructive feedback, questions and different opinions as long as they stay on topic. Please keep in mind, you are communicating with a person in front of a screen, remember to be both relevant and respectful. Your messages must be appropriate and related to the conversation. We reserve the right to delete off-topic comments.
Your Privacy, Their Privacy, Our Privacy
Your comments and messages on our social media will be public. Do not share or post any personal or sensitive information that you would not want to make public. The privacy, safety and dignity of our staff is important to us. We reserve the right to remove posts from members that provide enough information to publicly identify and defame a staff member.
We make it a habit to read all messages and comments daily, and we will respond when appropriate. Please remember we are all humans and we want to keep a healthy work-life balance. Breach of Guidelines
We reserve the right to determine, at our discretion, whether contributions to our social media channels breach our guidelines.
